About Us

 

The Write Advice is owned and managed by Peter Burdon, who capitalises on his background in journalism and public relations to produce high quality publications and website content.

 

This background includes working as a journalist on a daily newspaper, press secretary to a Cabinet Minister in the New Zealand Government, communication manager for a major lobby group and a consultant for a leading South Island public relations company. He has also edited a major New Zealand sporting website.

 

All of these roles have contributed to Peter's expertise as a professional writer and publisher.

 

His two university Masters degrees have also been influential in his career. The first of these was achieved in Journalism at the University of Canterbury and the second in Communication Management at the Sydney University of Technology.
